The School of Computing Science with ICT Academy of Tagore College of Arts and Science organized a Youth Empowerment Program - A CSR initiative, sponsored by Rockwell Automation on 18th June 2025.  It was conducted to enhance students’ employability skills and prepare them for the evolving demands of the job market.

The session began at 10:00 a.m. in the College Auditorium and was graced by eminent dignitaries, staff members, and enthusiastic students. The event was started with Tamilthai Vazhthu and Lightening the Lamp By Principal, Resource Persoon and dignitaries.

Welcome Speech was given By Dr.S.Subbulakshmi – SPOC of this Program, Head and Assistant Professor from Department of computer Science Dr. (Mrs.) R. Santhi, Principal, Tagore College of Arts and Science Felicitated the Resource Person with a shawl and a Present , addressed the students  about the program.

The Resource Person, Mrs. P. Lakshmi, delivered an insightful address on the Youth Empowerment Program, focusing on the importance of skilling, upskilling, and reskilling the youth. She emphasized how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives like the one by Rockwell Automation play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. She elaborated on how the ICT Academy acts as a vital implementation partner in delivering impactful training and development programs to students across institutions. Vote Of Thanks was given by Mr.T,Sundar, Head and Assistant Professor from Department of computer Science and Data Science.
